Nu'uali'i Eteroa Lafaele

Meet Eteroa, an award-winning champion for Digital Equity hailing from the beautiful islands of Samoa. Born and raised in Cannons Creek, Porirua, with roots in Fogapoa, Leulumoega Tuai, and Lefaga, Eteroa's passion for service led to the creation of DigiTautua. Through this initiative, she and her team refurbished devices to be distrubuted to family's in lockdown and continued to fundraise to bridge the digital divide in her community.
Eteroa's impactful work hasn't gone unnoticed. Recognized as the Young IT Professional of the Year in 2021, she received the Prime Minister Award for STEM in 2019 and was nominated as a Young Women of Influence. Her achievements also include being an ASB Gold as Gold recipient, a MacDiarmid Institute Discovery recipient, and earning a spot on Forbes' 30 under 30 for Social Impact. Beyond her community efforts, Eteroa brings world-class experience in voice-over work, MC, and acting for global tech conferences and media.

Julia Arnott-Neenee, a trailblazer in the tech industry, is on a mission for Digital Equity and increased representation of Pacific Peoples in Technology. With an extensive career spanning New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and the US, Julia's commitment to justice and creating impactful futures is evident. Notably, she defied the odds at the age of 24 by securing the role of Strategic Planner for the United Kingdom and Ireland at HP Inc, becoming a global advocate for Pacific wahine in the tech sector.
Julia's leadership extends to influential governance roles, contributing to organisations such as the Digital Council for Aotearoa, Callaghan Innovation, University of Auckland and the World Economic Forum Global Futures Council on AI and Inclusion. Julia has been recognised for her excellence with UC Young Alumni Award Winner for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sunpix Pacific Peoples Award Winner for Enterprise and finalist for GENNZ Social Entrepreneur of the Year.
